I’ve been a freelance editor for over a dozen years, and have worked on novels, screenplays, memoirs, short stories, and newspaper columns. My experience started back in high school, where I was features editor of the newspaper and editor in chief of the literary magazine. I edited and wrote for the school paper at the University of Virginia, then gave feedback on scripts during my time at Walt Disney Studios.
I handle all genres, but specialize in crime fiction. Besides working with my regular clients, I occasionally freelance for mystery/thriller imprint Thomas & Mercer. In addition, I review crime fiction for Shelf Awareness for Readers, and will be part of the faculty at the 2013 California Crime Writers Conference, presented by Sisters in Crime/Los Angeles and SoCal Mystery Writers of America.
I’m also an avid reader, published author, and former journalist so I understand the writer’s plight. My job is to help you get past obstacles in your creativity and make your writing soar.
I look forward to working with you. Contact me here.
